One-to-One Coaching
The most personalised journey. We work together, just the two of us, at your pace. This is for you if you want deep, individual support.
If you’ve spent as long as you can remember counting calories, restricting foods, especially carbohydrates, binge eating, and promising yourself you’ll start again on Monday, you’re not failing. You’re caught in a cycle that was never designed to bring lasting results, let alone peace with food. It actually creates the very opposite.
Hi, I’m Sorea, an Intuitive Eating Coach.
I help women break free from the cycle of dieting, then overeating and feeling out of control around food. No more diets. No more restrictions or meal plans. Just a kinder, more sustainable way to eat, live, and feel comfortable in your own skin. Sounds impossible? That’s what I thought too.
This is the restrict-deprive-binge cycle. And it’s not a willpower problem, it’s a predictable biological response to restriction. The harder you try to control food, the more food controls you.
Here’s what I wish more people knew:
“The more you restrict, the more your brain drives you toward the very foods you’re trying to avoid. The cycle isn’t a character flaw. It’s biology.”
If this feels familiar, it is not a lack of willpower. It is a loop, and the harder you fight it, the tighter it holds.
This was never a willpower problem. It is a predictable biological response to restriction.
I was diagnosed with Bulimia at 16, back in the early 1980s. Growing up in a small town, there was little understanding of eating disorders and virtually no support available. The thoughts that consumed me around food stayed hidden, because nobody talked about these things. The isolation was overwhelming, and slowly, the eating disorder stole countless moments and, for many years, entire seasons of my life.
I found my own excruciatingly slow way forward. Not through a clinic or a prescribed programme, but through decades of searching, reading, sporadic therapy sessions, learning, and trying to understand my complex relationship with food. Then I discovered Intuitive Eating. For the first time, everything made sense.
“If I could have met someone like me when I was in my early twenties, my life would have looked very different. That’s exactly why I do this work.”
It has become my life’s purpose, helping women untangle decades of diet rules and reconnect with the one person they’ve lost touch with most: themselves.
One of my clients was devouring scoops of Woolworths cookies and cream ice cream every night in front of the television. She felt completely out of control, guilty before she’d even finished the bowl.
I gave her one simple task: buy the ice cream, dish up as much as she wanted, but sit at the table and really savour it. No television. No distraction. Just tasting the ice cream with full awareness.
Within a few days, the hold it had over her was gone. Not because she’d banned it, but because she’d given herself full permission to enjoy it. That’s what food freedom actually looks like in practice.
Food freedom means you walk into a party and see the food table, and your first thought is: “Yummy, what do I feel like having?”
It means you know what you like. You know when you’ve had enough. And you can have it whenever you want again.
It means the foods you used to eat in secret lose their power, not because you’ve banned them, but because nothing is off-limits anymore.
Food freedom is eating what you love, slowly reconnecting with your body’s hunger and fullness signals, and releasing every rule, fear, and shame story you’ve been carrying around food.
No guilt. No starting over on Monday. Just you and food, at peace.
A relaxed 30-minute conversation, just the two of us. I’ll ask about your journey, your struggles, and what you’re hoping for. No pressure, no commitment.
Based on our conversation, we’ll design a coaching journey together, tailored specifically to you, your pace, your history, your life. No rigid timelines. No one-size-fits-all approach.
Week by week, you’ll begin to understand why your relationship with food has become what it is, and with my guidance, gently build a new one based on trust, self-compassion, and lasting change. No diets. No prescribed meal plans. (A little scary, I know.) Just a new way of thinking about food. With a healthy dash of creativity, and a little fun along the way, you’ll discover your unique eating personality and learn to work with it, not against it.

The most personalised journey. We work together, just the two of us, at your pace. This is for you if you want deep, individual support.

The same approach, shared with a small group of women on the same journey. Often surprisingly powerful, there’s something special about realising you’re not alone in this.

Years of dieting can make it feel impossible. Take the free quiz to find out where you really are with food, and what your first step could be.
Another diet. Another disappointment. Another year at war with your body and food. The cycle doesn’t get quieter, it gets louder. The longer it continues, the more it chips away at your confidence, your peace of mind, and your ability to simply enjoy food.
You stop starting over. You stop second-guessing every mouthful. You stop feeling guilty about your food choices. You start eating the foods you love, without the noise in your head.
“Where I always gained weight on holiday, I now lost weight. That was proof enough for me.”
